Emphasis is placed on the physical and chemical properties of various pharmacology preparations, their pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties, the therapeutic effects of major drug categories, and health teaching considerations. Learners will apply knowledge gained in this course to selected clinical settings when caring for patients across the lifespan.
