CHILD CARING FAMILIES NUR 242; PSY 2305 This course focuses on the care of the high-risk childbearing and child caring family and for children with complex health problems from birth through adolescence. Alterations in family relationships and concepts of loss and grieving related to the childbearing/ child rearing family are also explored. Clinical experiences offer learners the opportunity to use established professional standards, guidelines, competencies, and best practices to provide safe, patient centered care in a variety of healthcare settings.
