F Welding Supervision

Catalog description

36 hours lecture and 54 hours lab per term. This course covers welding supervision skills related to welding operator and process efficiency, welding economics and symbols, fabrication math, and nondestructive examination. Basic techniques in materials management, quality management, project management, operations management, purchasing and supply chain, and team leadership are also covered. Students entering the field of welding supervision may enter a variety of manufacturing and construction related fields such as welding, fabrication, quality control, and production management.
