Catalog description

Concurrent 36 hours lecture and 54 hours lab per term. This course involves the beginning study and execution of stage lighting with emphasis on equipment, control, color and their relationship to lighting design for the theatre. Students will gain practical experience hanging and focusing lights, using computerized lighting control systems and moving light fixtures found in the Theatre Arts facilities.
