Catalog description

36 hours lecture and 54 hours lab per term. This course is designed to be a study of the combined elements of contemporary theatre through examination of audience/performer relationships and the organization of theatrical production personnel. This course involves the study of current and classical plays, with special emphasis on dramatic analysis and cultural significance. Mandatory attendance at selected group of live theatrical productions outside of regularly-scheduled class times are required. Approximate cost of theatre tickets is $150 - $300.
