36 hours lecture per term. This course focuses on providing students with academic reading strategies that build the foundation for college and career success. The course addresses literacy proficiency, emphasizing the application of active reading strategies to academic texts and integration of college-level vocabulary to student writing. Students explore academic mindsets in relation to achieving success in both academic and professional realms. Letter Grade or Pass/No Pass option. (Degree Credit) (CSU)
