F Advanced/Master SCUBA Diver

Catalog description

Students must be able to swim in order to complete the water component of the course. 36 hours lecture and 72 hours lab per term. This course is an intensive program consisting of lectures and practical application of water skills. The information presented will increase the student's knowledge in the area of equipment, ocean environment, safety, decompression, leadership and specialty diving options. This course provides the opportunity to receive certification not only for Advanced and/or Master, but also for specialties such as Rescue, Deep Water, Night, and Decompression diving, etc. NAUI standards and certification will be utilized.
