Catalog description

54 hours lecture per term. This course follows the guidelines set by the American Red Cross to teach students to critically analyze the strategies to successfully execute the appropriate first aid and lifesaving rescue application for on land and in water emergencies. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have the opportunity to qualify for Lifeguard Training, First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications following the standards set forth by the American Red Cross.
