Catalog description

54 hours lecture per term. This course covers the identification and study of trees, shrubs, vines; tropical and herbaceous plant material of landscape value. Special emphasis is placed on fall-blooming as well as broadleaf and narrowleaf plants. This course is designed for non-majors, homeowners, and those engaged in the fields of landscaping and horticulture. Not open for transfer credit for majors in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Architecture as a substitute for HORT 160 F . Letter Grade or Pass/No Pass with a grade of C or better. (Degree Credit)
