36 hours lecture and 54 hours lab per term. In this course the students will learn the application of design principles and elements to contemporary fashion for ready-to-wear and couture and how to make it marketable Class work will require garment sketching. Current fashion trends and resources for design ideas will be explored. (Degree Credit) (CSU)
