F Introduction to Poetry

Catalog description

54 hours lecture per term. This course covers the reading and study of poems from ancient to modern times in English and in translation. Poets represented may include Blake, Dickinson, Donne, Eliot, Frost, Keats, Neruda, Paz, Shakespeare, Whitman, Yeats and Levertov.
