Catalog description

54 hours lecture per term. This course builds on foundational programming concepts to further develop students’ expertise in drone and autonomous device programming. Students will engage with complex programming techniques to enable sophisticated behaviors such as autonomous navigation, AI-driven decision-making, advanced sensor integration, and multi-drone coordination. Key topics include adaptive flight path programming, machine learning applications, multi-sensor fusion, and fail-safe mechanisms for real-world deployment. This course includes lectures, practice, and real-world testing simulations to reinforce skills. (Degree Credit) (CSU)
