54 hours lecture per term. This course will examine the art of contemporary figures from across the globe, as well as their voices, expressions and concerns. Particular attention will be given to young and emerging artists from non-European nations; this interdisciplinary course will also examine the ways in which history, colonization, and race often inform the styles and expressions of global artists.
