Pass/No Pass option only. 27 hours lecture per term. This course is designed to improve the understanding of state prison parolees. This course covers a basic understanding of the California prison system, typical parolee behavior, communicating with parolees and understanding conditions of parole. It also emphasizes teaching the cognitive skills needed in law enforcement, including proper field interrogation. Investigative recourses within the Department of Corrections are discussed, as well as controlled interviews.
