ONLINE CLASS: The above class introduces students to professional codes of conduct and ethics adopted by professional associations and state licensing boards for accountants, auditors, and fraud examiners. Topics include research and discussion of selected historical contemporary ethical cases and issues as they relate to accounting and business. This course is required in order to take the CPA exam. This course uses CANVAS. There will be two midterm exams given during the term and one final exam given at the end of the term. All the exams will be given online and administered via CANVAS/Lockdown Browser. A computer, webcam, microphone, and internet access are required to complete the exams using CANVAS/Lockdown Browser. An orientation PowerPoint, including text requirements, syllabus, and schedule of assignments, will be made available on CANVAS at the beginning of the term.
