Catalog description

This is the second of three courses focusing on interprofessional education (IPE). This course includes an overview on the pediatric patient, the geriatric patient, communication issues in health care settings, and understanding the skills and scope of practice of other health care professionals with a focus on patient safety and teamwork. Enrollment is limited to students accepted in an allied health program.
