NURS 2148* 4 Lab Credits Holistic Nursing Care IV: Practicum This course allows students to apply theoretical nursing knowledge and skills in a simulated, supervised clinical setting. They must demonstrate competency using scenarios that integrate learned nursing theories, skills, and techniques before moving to the final practicum. Under the guidance of experienced registered nurses, students gain practical patient care experience, refining critical thinking, problem- solving, and communication skills essential for nursing practice. They will also demonstrate clinical judgment through documentation, care mapping, reflection activities, and evidence-based practices.
