Catalog description

This course is a survey of molecular and Mendelian genetics for the student interested in transfer to a 4- year degree in Biology. Students will be expected to understand and apply genetic concepts at the molecular, cellular, organismal, and population levels. An introduction to statistical analysis of genetic data as well as the use of traditional and modern laboratory techniques will complete this course. Research will also be emphasized. BUSINESS The mission of the Business department is to provide its students with an opportunity to be trained in a broad range of business skills designed to allow the student to adapt to the multi-disciplinary conditions which are experienced in workplace environments within society. Students will be provided with analytical and communications skills within an enriched professional and ethical learning environment that will prepare them to become leaders in the ever-changing business world
