Students are introduced to ecological principles demonstrating the relationship between organisms and their environment with special emphasis on ecosystems, energetics, population dynamics, and Native American philosophy of the natural environment. Labs include surveying environmental factors of local ecosystems and preparing one research paper. Lecture and Lab. BIOL 2090* 1-3 credits (repeatable) Undergraduate Research Faculty-directed research for biology students. Topic(s) will be determined in consultation with a biology faculty member or members. The course is offered for one credit per term and is repeatable for up to 3 credits maximum.
