Catalog description

A course designed to acquaint students with advanced imaging concepts related to Radiologic Technology. Topics covered include: mobile radiography, fluoroscopy, tomography and basic physical concepts related to computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, mammography and other imaging modalities. Students learn advanced radiographic procedures including venipuncture, trauma radiography, and pediatric radiography. Special consideration is placed on positioning and exposure techniques that help the radiographer consistently obtain optimum images of human anatomy.
