Catalog description

Personal Financial empowers students to take agency over their personal financial lives by equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage money effectively for wealth creation and preservation. Students will learn to apply financial principles to practical, real-world situations with the long-term goal of achieving financial independence. The curriculum covers comprehensive financial and retirement planning, investment strategies, effective budgeting, credit management, and managing major purchases such as real estate and automobiles. Additionally, the course addresses tax strategies and insurance solutions. By the end of the course, students will be empowered to achieve long-term financial success through enhanced financial literacy, strategic goal-setting, and proactive risk management.
