Catalog description

This course is designed to teach students how to analyze and understand information found in construction documents, drawings, and specifications relevant to fire inspectors and plan reviewers. Students will learn how to read a set of plans and assess compliance with current fire codes and standards. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to find and interpret information from real-world drawings, gaining familiarity with various abbreviations, symbols, and principles of technical projection.
