Catalog description

The new Venture Laboratory is an immersive, hands-on course that transforms entrepreneurial theory into action by guiding students through the full lifecycle of venture creation. Working in collaborative teams, students will identify and validate market opportunities through rigorous customer discovery, iterative prototyping, and the development of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). A distinctive feature of this lab is the ethical integration of artificial intelligence, leveraging AI-driven insights to optimize market analysis, streamline product development, and sharpen decision-making. Beyond technical execution, the course builds essential mindset competencies-such as resilience, adaptability, and ethical judgment-while covering critical business hurdles like intellectual property, funding, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies. By the end of the term, students will have the practical experience and confidence to pitch refined business concepts and navigate the uncertainties of the modern startup ecosystem.
