Catalog description

The basic objective of this course is to acquaint the student with the structure and operation of the market system. Emphasis will be placed on microeconomics, which is presented not only as a formalized logical way of thinking but also as a model with which to understand and analyze human behavior. The student will learn to apply an analytical approach to the study of how individuals, businesses, and societies deal with the fundamental problem of scarce resources.
