Catalog description

Building on the content presented in Anatomy and Physiology I/II, this course covers adult, fetal, and newborn cardiac & pulmonary anatomy, vasculature, and physiology in relation to cardiovascular function and the field of CVT. Students will learn an overview of cardiac structure and function, the determinants of cardiac performance, hemodynamics, arterial system, blood pressure, and the control & regulation of circulation and cardiac output.
