Students will examine and apply the wildlife techniques used by managers and researchers when working with wildlife. Major topics covered in the course include: animal capture and handling, sexing and aging wildlife, radio telemetry, population estimation methods, passive monitoring techniques, quantifying vegetation, and habitat usage.
