As the population of the United States becomes increasingly diverse, the integration and participation of diverse communities is essential with respect to successful management and conservation of wildlife and natural resources. Examines current and historical factors that influence the interaction of marginalized communities such as indigenous and communities of color with the natural environment, including natural resource management decision-making structures.
