Catalog description

An introduction to the biological and ecological basis of wildlife issues and the pathways humans use to resolve these issues throughout the world. Topics include: major animal phyla, evolutionary history of vertebrates, state, federal and international agencies that manage wildlife worldwide, impacts of human activities on wildlife. This course affords students the ability to critically examine and evaluate the principles of the scientific method, model construction, and use the scientific method to explain natural experiences and phenomena.
