Traces the interplay of misinformation and disinformation and the impact on personal and public health in the United States. Imparts understanding of the real world impact of misinformation on health outcomes and what can be done about it. Knowledge gained can be used to help understand how people are misinformed and lay the groundwork for being better informed future practitioners. Provides strategies to engage with people those influenced by misinformation or disinformation.
