Catalog description

Introduction to science of weather and climate and current scientific developments in such areas as extreme weather prediction, global climate change and improved forecasting of events. This course affords students the ability to critically examine and evaluate the principles of the scientific method, model construction, and use the scientific method to explain natural experiences and phenomena.
