Catalog description

The historical, environmental, and social dimensions of conservation. Students will examine case studies of local, national, and international conservation actions around race, gender, class and power. Students will also examine scientific data shaping debates on conservation; and the issues facing people of color, indigenous groups, and lower socio-economic communities.
