Introduces the significant changes in biological, cognitive, social, and emotional development that occur during childhood and adolescence. Become acquainted with relevant theoretical perspectives and research on child and adolescent development within the context of learning and education. Although this is not a teacher preparation course, it does include content that focuses on educating students from early childhood through adolescence.
