An introduction to education exploring historical, sociological, and philosophical foundations; school governance, finance, and policies; legal, moral, and ethical issues; and teacher professionalism for those interested in education generally, planning to become teachers, and/or pursuing a career in education broadly. 15 hours of field-based experience is required.
