Catalog description

Provides an integrated introduction to biomedical instrumentation, covering the engineering and clinical fundamentals of acquiring, conditioning, and processing physiological signals, like photoplethysmography (PPG), electrocardiography (EKG). Students learn op-amp–based circuits, biosensors, and digital systems, and gain hands-on experience by designing, building, and testing biomedical circuits and sensors using breadboards and KiCad, with emphasis on clinical relevance.
