Introduction to body functions at the cellular, tissue, organ and systems level with emphasis on the mechanisms of operation. Designed for students interested in pursuing study in the health professions. This course affords students the ability to critically examine and evaluate the principles of the scientific method, model construction, and use the scientific method to explain natural experiences and phenomena.
