Catalog description

Study of general anatomy of the human body from a systematic approach. Understanding anatomical terminology, gross structures, and locations of different body structures are primary concerns. Cells, tissues, and organs of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems are emphasized. This course affords students the ability to critically examine and evaluate the principles of the scientific method, model construction, and use the scientific method to explain natural experiences and phenomena.
