Variable topics or survey focus on the major issues, movements or themes in the study of Asian American literature and culture from the beginnings to the present. Topics may include Kung Fu films, cultural nationalism and feminism, model minorities, Angel Island literature, Asian Americans in film and media, and several major authors.
