Catalog description

Introduces discrete-event simulation for systems analysis and decision-making, an approach widely applicable across various disciplines including systems engineering and other engineering fields, operations research and management science. Covers the simulation modeling process to develop conceptual and computational models, fit data to statistical distributions and conduct model verification and validation activities. Also presents techniques for output analysis and statistical methods for evaluating alternatives. Requirement(s): Background knowledge equivalent to MTH 2401 Probability and Statistics
