Introduces key elements of nuclear science and technology. Covers nuclear structure, stability, decay laws, particle interactions, energy deposition, dose rate and measurements. Includes examples from various disciplines. Reviews industrial activities, explosions and accidents, and their effect on the environment. Prerequisite: ( MTH 2201 or MTH 3200 ) and PHY 2003
