Provides a background for the calculation of hydrodynamic forces, forces due to waves in inviscid fluid, effect of viscosity, hydrodynamic modeling, wave drift forces and forces due to current on moored and dynamically positioned floating structures, hydrodynamic impact and its prediction, and flow-induced vibration. Prerequisite: OCE 3030
