Catalog description

Introduces the grammar of Western music through music theory, sight singing and ear training. Teaches pitch and rhythm notation and fundamentals of melody, harmony and time. Covers basic aural, visual and vocal experiences in dictation and singing at sight. Provides skills needed to sing and perform simple rhythms at sight and melodies by ear. (HU) (LA)
