Catalog description

Provides a hands-on understanding of the ecology of tropical terrestrial and/or marine ecosystems through visiting a wide range of habitats. Develops field-identification skills using GPS, photography and limnological surveys; interacting with applicable software; and writing a detailed field notebook. A research project provides the basis for a written report. (WPS) Prerequisite: BIO 1020
