Experimental design and hypothesis testing in the biological sciences, and the analysis of biological data using descriptive statistics and applying parametric and non-parametric tests. Computer applications include statistical packages, spreadsheets, graphics preparation and word processing in the development of reports on modules of field-, clinic- and lab-based studies. Prerequisite: BIO 1020
