Catalog description

Applies engineering design fundamentals to student design projects. Includes the study of the design process and related topics such as optimization techniques, reliability prediction, engineering economics, safety, aesthetics, ethics and social impact. Students carry out a project from conception through design, fabrication, testing and delivery. (Q) Prerequisite: ECE 3240
