Catalog description

Presents an understanding of historical and state-of-the-art techniques in memory forensics. Explores forensics approaches for cybercrime and ransomware. Develops an understanding of current modular-designed memory forensics tools. Culminates in a research project to conduct an independent forensic investigation. Cross-listed with CSE 4890 Memory Forensics. Prerequisite: CSE 3801 or CYB 3801 and CSE 4880 or CYB 4880 May be repeated once for credit.
