Catalog description

Introduces students to the main AI problems in robotics: planning, localization, mapping and communication. Covers relevant concepts related to robots and their components, as well as important robot types and sample robots. Introduces software architecture supporting artificial intelligence for robots. Introduces robot communication, development and testing software frameworks. Introduces sample AI algorithms for some of the robotic problems. Prerequisite: CSE 4301
