Catalog description

Introduces advanced computer architecture concepts. Includes microcode, execution pipelines, cache management, vector processors, parallel architectures and RISC processors. Explores the interfacing of assembly language programs with the operating system and high-level languages. Requires students to interface assembly with C and the Win32 API. Prerequisite: CSE 2010 and CSE 2120
