Emphasizes characterization of nanomaterials using STM, AFM, SEM, TEM, confocal laser scanning microscopy, Raman spectroscopy/microscopy, pore size analysis and a variety of particle size distribution methods. Minimum student level - junior Prerequisite: ( BME 3260 or CHE 3260 or CHM 2002 ), and ( CHE 1091 or CHM 1091 )
