Studies delivery strategies for drugs, growth factors, and other pharmaceuticals. Focuses on biomaterial strategies for controlled release and targeted delivery instead of the pharmacokinetics. Calculates release profiles for the different systems using transport phenomena. Prerequisite: BME 3030 or CHE 3101 Corequisite: BME 3030 or CHE 3101
