Covers the biology of eukaryotic cells. Fundamentals of cell structure, organelle function, regulation of protein levels, protein localization, membrane transport, cell cycle, and cell communication will be presented. Laboratory will introduce technology used to study cell function. Prerequisite: BIO 1010
